El equipo – Claudia Curiel
Claudia Curiel is a Venezuelan-American four time Emmy Award winning journalist from Miami, Florida. For the last six years she worked as Anchor and Reporter for Telemundo 44 in Washington D.C. which serves the Spanish speaking community in the area. During her time with Telemundo, Curiel also reported in English for NBC4 and the bilingual show Agenda on News Channel 8. Curiel has received several Emmy awards for her work as an anchor as well as stories ranging from health, the environment, and historic/cultural pieces. Curiel has also worked as a correspondent for Fashion One Television and Production Coordinator for Premios Billboard and Premios Tu Mundo at Telemundo Network in Miami. Curiel graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and Costume Design as well as a minor in French. She also worked as a Costume Designer for several theatre productions and TV commercials. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and speaks fluent French. Curiel is also a member of Miami Children's Young Ambassadors, an organization that helps raise funds for Miami Children's Hospital. She currently lives in Washington D.C. with her husband and overweight cat, Dusty.
