CISCRP conducts custom searches on behalf of patients (and their family, friends, and advocates) who are overwhelmed by the process of finding relevant clinical trials or who would like some assistance. Patients and members of their support network can contact CISCRP by telephone (617-725-2750) or online (www.ciscrp.org) to request a search. CISCRP will conduct a thorough search—usually within 2–3 days—and then compile the results and mail or email them. At this time, CISCRP conducts 75–100 custom searches each month. The service is offered to patients free of charge.
